It's really choppy and suuuuuper scribbly because I took like 30 seconds to draw each frame. Please fill in the gaps and gloss over the art with your wonderful imagination! I made it in Windows Movie Maker which is an absolutely evil program =o=

Eurovision nightGot myself some ice cream and will be making myself compfy on the sofa so I'm ready for the big, glittery, horrible music, camp, pointless politics, drama that is eurovision. It never disappoints me. :la:

The Echo chamber dilemmaThe promise of the Internet was that unlimited information and experiences would draw us together. But instead it seems to have driven us apart.
For years I've observed this behavior but haven't been able to vocalize it correctly. Originally I called the behavior of collective opinions as "the hive mentality" of the Internet. But that wasn't exactly right and I often got called out on it. The most prominent example was when I made a comic about a guy disagreeing with opinions and being shouted at till he remained quiet, eventually fading into the background with everyone else. The consensus of that comic was that if you disagree with someone you aren't bullied into not speaking, but instead are free to go someplace else where people who do agree with you exist. And you know what? That wasn't what i was trying to convey, but is sadly true. The Internet is not a hive mind. It's many tiny pocket echo chambers of mutual agreements.

Yup, I've been promising a finished piece for months and it's starting to bug me why I can't seem to do it.

Today I came back to ~DalaiHarma's piece and after an hour of retouching and redrawing I gave up again (well, I stopped to have lunch)

Other news:

My mother and my sister went to NEW YORK for a week!
They took a thousand plus photos and I was amazed!
My sis gave me an official NBA cap (Bulls always were my favourites) and my mom gave me an Ipod :D yay :D I'm an official "Ipodian" now and I'll surely go deaf in the near future =P
So, huge sky scrappers, big churches, art everywhere, lots of NYPD, a spectacular view from the top of the empire state building, lots of art from the amazing museums, times square, central park, 5th avenue... dreamy!
I do need to broaden my horizons!
I'm going to sell a kidney and buy me a ticket!

If only someone commissioned me, I could go and keep my kidneys :D
