After the great success of a Work in Progress [link] which got more than a thousand views in less than 24 hours here it is... the finished piece!

I spent more than 12 hours painting this with Paint Tool Sai!
I used to colour my work with Adobe's illustrator with good results but i always wanted to make it look like it was painted but every time I used photoshop I got disappointed.

Right now I'm beat, my hand hurts, my back is making strange creaking noises but I'M HAPPY! :D

I hope you guys like this one too

The fox and the hare... it's like a traditional fable, with her legs as metaphorical moral lessons. I'm not sure which this would be. I think a tale could be spun telling the dangers of dual natures and chasing oneself in circles.

Reading-too-far-into-it aside, I really like the vibrant colors and the design work on this. :)

Corwin Prescott, the photographer, has a fox (stuffed dead animal) he uses on photoshoots and I used to draw a rabbit a few years back so I used his fox and my rabbit to give a little fun side to this :)

Sorry for disappointing you about your take on this artwork but that's the beauty about art. Each one sees/reads it as they want or as they perceive the world.

Not disappointed at all. Fact is (almost) always simpler than what we perceive or imagine. It's another interesting aspect of artwork that it so often reminds us of that. :)

As for the naked bits, I always cover the most "sensitive" parts of the body.
