finally I finished it after postponing it for more than a week.
I tried to use a limited palette of colours and tried a more homogeneous composition, colour wise. It's noticeable on the torso but I had to use my favourite brighter gradients and I used them on the arms.
I tried some different shapes too, trying to get away from the stars, the hearts and flowers that I've used so far. I tried to create the volumes and roundness of the body by implying a 3D effect of the "blades" or layers as you may call them but didn't quite get it right.
I tested some new concepts, colours, shapes and tried to make a patterned background that looks unfinished and not that proportional compared to the figure.
There's no clear focal point, though I tried to make it happen with the centre of the transparent starburst.
As you may have noticed my bodies are always nude and I cover the more "sensible" parts with tattoos, flowers or a heart which I usually use on the reproductive organs. I call it the "LOVE" (heart=love). This time I drew a 3D LOVE! And inside it I used the flare tool (that Illustrator has as a main tool!!!). It didn't work that great...
So. To those who got disappointed... fear not, this was a test.
Now I'm going to start working on my Muse1979 piece... and, don't worry, you'll be teased... oh yeees you will
Thanks
I like the expression, the hair and "the love"
Thanks
You've got a good eye
